if you're really motivated to build this, you can do it all with a hand saw (it'll just be exhausting as hell and harder to get great results) but i agree. a lot of DIY stuff tends to lean on the "here you should use this $600 tool that no one has"

(or riding a bike or something) Burning calories in the sun is the absolute best way to make sure that your next 2 drinks are effective as hell.
