If they really want to squash ethics concerns, make them fuckers hold their shit and not cash out for another 6 months to a year. Let’s see how quickly they get nervous about that.

He claims to be a lawyer himself. And it was filed “pro se”. Represents himself and claimed to represent retail investors.
I don’t know him nor do I have a contract of representation with this douche canoe.

There’s a guy on YouTube that skates through the airport terminal. Quicker travel between terminals and baggage claim.

I’m a business owner myself. 2nd generation. Most of my employees worked for my parent that passed away. They’re still working for me. One employee was a pallbearer at the funeral. I treat them right. If they need help with something, I jump in to assist. I’m always a phone call, text message, or a knock at the door away. Through covid everyone kept food on the table and bills paid, even when we were shut down completely for 2 months and we still haven’t fully recovered. Even when I took Gov’t money and debt on the Hope that “two weeks to slow the spread” would actually work.
And for the record, I’ve fired blood related family over non-blood related. I’ve sided with employees over family. Because the employees were in the right, and the family was wrong. And I’d trust my employees with the keys to my home, my check book, etc before I trust my blood related family.
So not every business is full of shit when they say that. You just have to find the diamond in the rough.
Edit: thank you for the upvotes. But I think it’s just about being a good person. Nothing more. Nothing less. Treat those how you expect to be treated.

My mother was diagnosed with cancer and passed away in her early 40’s. Her last 5 months of life were spent in the hospital. After she passed and me in my early 20’s was having to handle her estate, I got a bill from the hospital. $1.2 million. She had good insurance through her employer and they paid all but around $2,500.

Look for a provision that lets renovations stand “as constructed”. There’s a clause in a county in Colorado I’ve done work in before that allows for a “post-remodel” permit to be pulled and inspected as it stands.
If that doesn’t exist, then fuck it. If you’re keeping the house, then let it ride. Blame it on the guy that solicited you at Home Depot for work and he seemed like a good honest craftsman so you hired him. He said he took care of the permits.
