To mirror what the other replies already said, it should be as simple as:

Purchase 2 of the same DVRs from the same company (i.e. Hikvision/Dahua/Ankke/Amcrest/etc) - set them both up in the same app. Whatever app for the DVR you end up going with should support both systems.

You might want to consider replacing the transformer. It should be as simple as swapping the old one for a new one (something like this)

Here's what I found online that leads me to believe you will need to swap it out:

Ring: Minimum 16V 30VA

Eufy: Minimum 16V 30VA

Amcrest: Minimum 16V 30VA

Nelly's DB: Minimum 16V 30VA

Arlo: Recommends 8-24V, will likely perform better under 16V

Simplisafe: Recommends 16V (Likely 30VA), but could get away with 8V - wouldn't recommend it though.

All these doorbells have the same or similar components internally - an embedded linux computer, a 1MP-3MP image sensor, some IR leds, and a mic/speaker. If I were you, I'd stick to the recommended 16V 30VA where possible.

Sounds like a Dahua NVR - is it only HDMI and RJ45 plugged into the back of the NVR (as opposed to something like BNC)? If so, that means the camera is an IP camera. You should be able to find either the camera or NVR (or both) using ONVIF.

There are many ways to do ONVIF discovery, although if you're on Windows I'd definitely recommend OnvifDeviceManager, and if on Android I'd recommend TinyCam.

Actually, here's the manual for the docks - there will be an amp somewhere (either 1 in each room with speakers, or a single amp for multiple rooms), you can just add whatever streaming devices to those amps.

The cheapest / simplest solution would be something like this to just place in each connector.

Are there already doorbell wires run to the location? If so, you could use something like the DoorbellFon (better pic). It uses your existing doorbell wire - we used to use it before we replaced it with a DoorBird a few years ago.

Was that the complex on West Esplanade? I saw it burned down and we drove by the charred remains of the car earlier today, but didn’t know how it burned down

Yeah next time I'll probably just do a youtube stream so there's much fewer requests

This should be it: https://itsstreamingno.dotd.la.gov/public/nor-cam-115.streams/playlist.m3u8

They are getting a lot of traffic so it might be slow to respond. Try it in VLC.

I think DOTD is throttling the streams but it’s unrelated to my traffic

It’s free! It’s just simple HTML pages hosted (for free) on GitHub. The only thing I pay for is the custom domain (notraffiq.com) which is like $5/yr or less
