Pendulum needs more decks that aren’t spellcaster/magician themed. I think the card design gets limited to too few archetypes and makes their design limited because of it.

For example, Dinomist completely deviates from that stereotype but the mechanic didn’t get reused again in any way. The pendulum mechanic in general needs to be flushed with new archetypes to get people interested in playing them because a lot of people just don’t want Endymion variants any more.
