All cultures have parts of them that are objectively wrong. Don't excuse obvious child abuse because it's part of their culture. Tolerating any terrible practice because it's been done by your ancestors is wrong.

Is there a reason they couldn't attempt to sue the government for failing to fund a second lander? Other than the obvious problem of them simply losing because it's the government. Then they'd at least be attacking those at fault for not having a second lander. No need to attack SpaceX and set back the whole moon mission other than simply greed. We should have a second lander in development in case any major issues arise too late in development to fix easily.

While they did attack at a bad time the peace with Russia wasn't going to last. They could have made it work of they had been less aggressive in Eastern Europe leading up to their Russian invasion. A week or two would have gotten tanks through Stalingrad before winter hit.
