I’ve been with Fidelity around 18 years and I appreciate these feedbacks. The influx of ex-RH users and requests for more modern interfaces are definitely welcoming. I don’t day trade and am mostly a Boglehead but that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy eye candy.

If you do some research and see how quickly the Afghan forces gave up, you can see that they don’t have any interest in fighting the Taliban. The Taliban has been offering $150 for defections and the Afghan army has been taking that offer. Cities surrendered without firing a shot.

Now how are we supposed to help them and keeping dumping resources if they aren’t willing to fight themselves? What’s going on now is unfortunate but let’s be honest here.

Vaccine was offered but these folks refused. And now they are overwhelming the hospitals and reallocating valuable resources away from people who actually need medical help.

I think after investment balance hits a certain point, emergency fund is unnecessary; we don’t have an emergency fund. If something unexpected happens, we can easily use our monthly income or investments to cover it.
