For sure a startled stress dog getting snick up on from behind could definitely snap.

I firmly believe small children shouldn't be left unsupervised with a dog no matter how much you trust your animal.

Absolutely agree with you man. it's the poor dog that would end up put down for no fault of its own.

I don't know why you're getting downvoted animals can get very protective around their young.

Kid falls in and hurts the pups or lifts one etc etc etc.

Door should be locked to stop the child getting access

24lb is where I've started I'm on 30" now two years later and see no reason to move up I shoot barebow at 30m regularly just fine :)

Take it in steps too about 2-4lb at a time over a long period but get all the basics right with the 24" before worrying about anything else.

Most importantly have fine it's a great hobby!
