Discussion Do you think Mr. Wilson's Goodwill Tour is Mostly Community or Revenue Based?

I should have said majority rather than 99%. I obviously don't know what the exact figure are.
With all that's going on Chris seemed most passionate about this style of game and got the most excited talking about it in the podcast.
That was the part that perplexed me. Mostly because I do not believe the majority are interested at all.

Sadly, it will just be another circle jerk episode of BaeClast. OFC this is just a PR move. It will be a doubling down, 'respect this vision' type thing. With promises of a brighter future. Don't expect any hard hitting questions. BaeClast is CW's safe place. Teasing 3.16 less than 3 weeks in a new league is desperate. My guess is supporter pack sales are tanking. That figure is much more important than player numbers in their eyes.

Without using the developer console, Chris is not up to this challenge.

My problem with posts like this is they always include the same meme: 'I'm sorry about this and we'll try to be clearer in the future/ do better next time.' Its always the same save face post. Strangely enough they almost always occur when supporter pack sales are at there peak. Can't blame Chris for doing it, it is a business after all. But its always the same shit.

That was as corporate and homogenized as it gets. My guess is supporter pack sales are tanking.

Discussion League Launch - Morbid Curiosity or Skip It ?

What a disappointing, tone-deaf interview. Chris straight up says he not only wants 3.15 to be a slog but grinding for anything good to be an equal slogfest. Dude makes no sense and is so out of touch it will be a detriment to the game. Maybe streamers who play 12+ hours a day are ok with it (for now). But this experiment Chris is pulling is not going to end well. How can he not see this. Slow, plodding gameplay is not a good look for Path Of Exile in 2021.

'3.15 has vastly more new skills than we normally release'
The one thing i've learned over the years - whenever I hear trigger words like 'vastly more', don't expect 10 or more new skills.
Vastly more will be like 3-5 new skills. 5 at the very top end. Still great but GGG wording is often times just word salad.
What I would really like to see is old skills getting real attention and updates. Vastly more old skills getting meaningful upgrades would be great.
Maybe even a mix of old and new meaningful skill upgrades in the same league! Now that would be something special.

As much as I love PoE it has become a bloated mess. I don't even know what the endgame is anymore. Sirus? Maven? Uber Elder? Shaper? 100% Delirious? Aul at 500+ depth? The 30 other endgame league bosses? Who knows? How is any of it even connected at this point. Its just a jumbled mess of things.
I guess in a way PoE has become more of a sandbox game than anything else. Problem is much of it is so convoluted that only a fraction of players actually ever see anything resembling an endgame. And when I say fraction i'm talking well under 10% of the player base.
Taking a step back and readjusting loot tables, skills, and powercreep is not the answer. The answer is making it a more coherent experience. Especially for newer players.

Worth a try I guess. I'll send a report. Something isn't right. It should only be allowing a certain portion of memory for asset storage not 100%. The way it is now it feels like even if I had 8GB the game wants as much as it can get. Even when I lowered the settings down to low.

Game is running great. But its reserving all of the GPU's memory. Hasn't crashed but its making anything else that wants to use GPU memory crash.
I just installed the latest nvidia drivers - sadly same problem.
Weird issue. Hope I am not the only one having it because the game was running fine before with chrome and other apps in the background.

I have had little issues running PoE for years with this 1050ti. All on high except for AA.
My problem isn't speed, its for some reason this patch is using every bit of memory leaving nothing for any other programs.
Its causing a buffer overload on a 4GB card (not speed related) causing other programs that need some GPU memory to crash. Like Chrome.
Weird issue. Feels like a memory leak or bug or something. Even lowering the settings to low, which i've never had to do before - is causing the game to use up almost all of my GPU memory. This has never occurred before the latest optimization patch.

Discussion Performance is substantially better but GPU memory usage is OBSCENELY high. Crippling my PC. Anyone else having this issue?

Ok now I am somewhat confused. I was under the impression Chris was wanting to keep a December league in 2021. If so, adjustments of some kind are needed. I guess my confusion is are they now happy with a January 2022 league instead? (keeping the current 13 week cycle).
