You greatly overestimate the equipment the US left behind my dude.

Maybe time for businesses to suck it up, pay a living wage, and stop expecting people to be lining up for slave pay.

You're god damn right.

How so? US civilians had months to get out. We'd be there years longer if we tried to unfuck the visas for our Afghan allies. There was never going to be a better way or better time to do any of this.

If there's one thing I've learned, it's a great first question to ask anyone that wants in my end times bunker. Anyone not vaccinated or wearing a mask during this is instantly struck out, and KoS for the automated defenses.

One of them new fangled flyin' machines, sonny!
And side note, if you're going to take jabs at people, US civilians have had since April to get out. This whole situation wasn't really sprung on them.

Because the government paying for roads is uh. A factory worker having democracy in the workplace somehow.
Really I think it's sad and harmful to any discussion even if you're not socialist to play the game of shifting socialism around to mean whatever you need it to at that moment. If you aren't consistent in your definitions how can you be consistent in anything you build from them?

It might have been the greatest in 1790, but a lot has changed since then and the only major shift in the basis of US government has been abolition of explicit slavery. Of course prisoners don't count and can still be treated as chattel.
What's sad is the 'much revered' founders put systems in place to update the government as needed, but the moment that topic even hints at being brought up conservatisms start screaming like children.

The term they use for kids is crisis actors, with a 90% chance of mentioning a Soros check. There's absolutely no reasoning with these people.

Yeah, it's called the US is once again committing human rights abuses, almost certainly with my tax dollars. Sorry I'm angry about it, I'll try to work on that, you know not caring about shit because I said a mean thing to fatass bob in accounting over it.

- People have known to get the fuck out since April. Why do you think that message was sent out? It wasn't plan to leave in October, it was we're out partially in July and fully by August.
Seeing as how that is your only argument worth addressing, and I have addressed it. Good night, sweety. If you want to play world police do it in your fucking dreams, people who had no problems getting out have had months. I have empathy, but holy shit don't act like the government didn't do exactly what it is you're bitching about them not doing.
Your narrative is fucked, or your head is fucked.

You're right, there's plenty of historical things we can grab from American history to compare this to as well. As an added bonus it keeps you pearl clutching pedants from bitching about how you're always compared to the nazis.
How about I force you fucking apricot pits instead of cancer meds if you ever get it - tell me how you feel about that.

Can you really be so incredulous, friend?
A US citizen should have had no problem securing a way out from April to August. If you're going to stay in a country that is headed to what will be at the very least a future of increased insurgency, that's on your head. The US put out word in April for citizens to get out.

You seem like a well adjusted individual with absolutely no victim complex at all. I wonder if you even know you're being bad faith or if it's just a reaction from being so totally secure in your position.

Filming underage girls against their will on the grounds of a school?
Even if you don't get charged or convicted not a great look.

The American citizens only had since April! Wow that's such like a short amount of time! it takes at least 20 years to leave Afghanistan, after all. That dastardly Biden at it again.

It's not more than fair. It's complete and utter horseshit fabricated by people that want to be outraged because their lives are pathetic and boring.
The US told everyone that could to get out in April. As far as the US goes, the only fuck up was with not fixing up the Afghan visa situation earlier. But I'd rather rip the bandaid off than be there another 5, 10, or 15 years unfucking every little god damn thing.
If the UK wants to be there, they UK is more than welcome to fucking stay. Unless they start getting terrorized by Afghan agents the US does not need to help them masturbate into the sands of Afghanistan any longer.

The absolute fucking absurdity of this. Feels like something you'd read from a nazi pow camp in ww2. Imagine being locked up for nonviolent crime and having this shit happen to you.

Depends on the bread you're making. A simple no knead bread is extremely worth it and takes no longer than 15 minutes spread over the course of a day for a simple loaf - if you want some nice garlic bread or whatever.
1
COMMENT 3d ago
Making your own bread is literally doing a minute or two extra while you're in the kitchen doing other things anyway. If you have an oven and it's not like ungodly hot there's no reason not to.

If you didn't have to pay for the content made by other people through their proprietary bullshit I'd see nothing wrong, but this is pretty damn predatory.

I'm for the withdrawal, and I'd rather have what we're seeing now than the US staying another 4 years (while doing the same thing the US have for the past 10). But you need to understand no group is a monolith. The loudest people on either side are gonna make their voices heard if things aren't going how they want.
