I actually did up some caramel covered onions once. It was for a snack at a church floor hockey event. The youth pastor was the first to dig in as we were all so parched from playing floor hockey. Same in Canada. People always assume it's for every item and will grab the items ending in 0.97 thinking they are winning. Humans are creatures of habit and perception trumps reality often in our decision making. That's an interesting detail about the gap filling. Will definitely look into this. I work for a pedorthist doing mods to footwear for mobility issues. Just expanded into resole this year so it's nice to get advice before any flubbing up. My distributor was much more helpful, advised the vibram that would fit best for the job and has guided me through other oddities like high heels and things we never saw prior to expanding into these light repairs.

Dominion is a drafting card game. Tcg stands for trading card game, games that are self contained can have many game design elements in common with a tcg but won't involve "rare" or hard to obtain cards by the very nature of being self contained. With FFG they use a system called Living Card Game and incorporates aspects of a tcg without any of the chance portions.

Mostly I am critical of kickstarters that seem less than informed on the very important key words. It may seem small and interchangeable to some but for people who spend a few K a year on boardgames, game mechanics and terminology are fixed and improper use is a red flag.

I always remind people that some of the greatest minds known to modern man worked excellent at home in there own time. Da Vinci and Einstein inevitably worked outside their homes but in no way did they become less efficient once they were at home.

If we don't need to commute to a location with specialised equipment then we have nothing special about the office at work over the office at home. I called redwing about an oil/slip resistant outsole replacement. Just was curious if the materials used would adhere with Renia contact cement. The customer service rep told me they recommend shoe goo... So I just disregarded that recommend and took it as confirmation it won't struggle to adhere. Vibram came in on monday and the boots left today, no shoe goo involved 😉

It definitely was my first one. I remember how impressed I was with the shock system and really wanted another technic set. Eventually got a white set that made a race car and two other things a few years later.

It's actually more concerning if they advertise it as a tcg but have more of an lcg ecosystem. Shows they lack understanding of the terms and makes me question game design.
