Jury selection happens prior to the trial, but in a court room. The defendant, lawyers, and judges all get to be present at selection. Part of selection is the judge asking all potential jurors if they have something they can't possibly miss during the trial period- surgery, excessive financial stress, etc. Sometimes this can be taken care of ahead of time, but sometimes it happens during selection.

Does that clear up what was confusing you?

We didn't... we had a denim overalls photo. Complete with hay bales as backdrop.

I've had really good luck with Clothing Shop Online- the shipping is reasonable and they have a lot in stock.

I've really wondered if this (the conspiracies, the misinformation) will change the perception of the public to the point of permanent damage. Nurses have been ranked as the most ethical profession for almost 20 years in a row, and I'll be curious whether that changes in the coming years.

3 grades of hamburger and none of it is as good as what was in the freezer at home.

Huh... you described my life a little.

Agreed. I have a love/hate relationship with my unusual name. It's annoying to hear the same stupid joke for 30 years straight.

My son has a similar scar, and he used to tell people he was bitten by a shark.

The uterine lining bulks up to support implantation of an egg. This occurs on a monthly cycle- if egg doesn’t get fertilized, the extra lining sheds along with the unfertilized egg, causing a period/ menstruation.

I was thinking they'd worked in a bakery, writing on cakes. Your explanation probably makes more sense.

I'm betting she's still planning to marry him at some point. So I can understand where she's coming from- it would be silly to change it to a whole new name now, then change it all again when they get married. It seems like they might have different goals for their long-term relationship.

Yep- most hospital nurses prefer longer shifts for more days off. I work overnights, part time. It’s great because I can do two night, recover, then have 5 days off.

Makes sense! My son was watching with me and was the one to point out it was a permanent tent lol.

COMMENT 14d ago

Video that long without any shots of the inside? Is it just a permanent tent or did you put stuff inside it?

Eh, in this case, I think you could almost think of it more as a tutor for social skills- it's normal to pay for tutors or classes to learn other skills. Sometimes people just don't learn that stuff naturally, and talking through it in therapy really helps.

23 hours a day for several months. It depends on the kid exactly how long- when they start and how the head is initially misshapen.

COMMENT 16d ago

Much too late, it needs to be treated in infancy because the head is still fairly moldable at that point. Once skull bones fuse, it would not be easily treatable with a helmet.

If you're working M-F, that time adds up. I've had an hour commute before, but I work 12hr shifts, so I don't have to do it that often. No way would I do that 5 days a week.

Are you planning to ever have a family? Because that's really what would get me. You lose out on a ton of time with your kids with that kind of commute.

I mean... antioxidants have been proven to have a preventative effect on certain types of cancer. And bananas are a good source of antioxidants.

Diet and lifestyle are certainly components of health, going to the hospital and doctor shouldn't be the only way people try to stay healthy. Still, don't take your information from a source called Health Panda.

Thanks, just wondered, I couldn’t find anything in the news.

Which schools have closed? I’ve only heard about Auburn.

I'm a home health nurse, so I was still working. Best drive times I've ever had, and it was costing less than $20 to fill up my gas tank.
