My ex-husband loves to act like I'm being a belligerent bitch whenever I talk to him and it isn't exactly what he wants to hear. I always tell him I'm talking to him like I'd talk to anyone else while having a serious discussion, but he refuses to hear it.

Then he just does everything in his power to try and get me to actually yell, but ends up just sounding like an unhinged man-child crying about, "watching the way you speak to people."

It's infuriating but I usually will just say, "This conversation is no longer productive, I hope you can think on it and enjoy the rest of your day."

It usually just makes him more upset but sometimes I need those petty little moments to get me through co-parenting.

I usually don't - unless me being a woman has a direct impact on the conversation.

If they say something like 'bro', 'man', 'guy' I might make a 'It's actually Ms. Bro' joke or something, ut otherwise I don't look too deeply in to it.

I live in a hundred year old house - any time something breaks or go wrong we joke about just setting it on fire versus paying for how expensive fixing it will be.

I was going to out this one! I wasn't necessarily confused by it, just disappointed in it.

Some of the descriptions and scenarios were just creepily sexual, and it seemed like the author couldn't go more than two paragraphs with out using an unnecessarily 'big' word that didn't even flow with the writing.

It felt all and all extremely pretentious and under developed.

I was going to suggest getting a cheap breakfast at Ikea, but they don't open until 10am.

My 9 year old and alai love getting the cafeteria type breakfast and then wandering the impulse section just for kicks every now and then.

Intervene physically, call him out and get attention to the situation, get security, or ask her if she needs your help. Literally any and all of these are what I as a woman would do or hope some one would do for me.

If you called ERC to notify them you're taking a test you'll get 5 excused, unpaid days. It can take up to 48hrs to approve - during which UPT may be deducted. Once approved the UPT will be restored.

I miss the days when my kid would wear her sparkly Frozen 'high heels' with literally every outfit.

Now she's all hightops and knobby knees.

Yeah, what the fuck? It's almost like these guys are having fun or something.

Ridiculous.

No one is downvoting men being abused - they're downvoting you being an insufferable ass with an ignorant take.

In addition to what u/kidkansas said - most pregnancies with multiple babies aren't delivered vaginally. They'll likely do a cesarean.

He looks like a kid on vacation who's sick of his mom taking pictures of him in front of tourist attractions.

PTO is accepted right away and UPT is taken after the shift concludes - but as long as you have enough to cover, you're all good! I don't believe the order you put them in matters - I always do PTO first though.

Just remember UPT goes in 1hr increments, so I usually don't bother with using minutes for PTO when I'm combining them.

"I just got my hair done." Was my favorite.

At my SC $1000 was for full-time and $500 for part-time. I also only received like $320 of the $500 but - death and taxes, ya know.

The same thing happened to a friend of mine. She'd quit for a like a day or two - then hit the bong a few times to try and sleep - immediately She'd end up in the bathroom puking.

I'm not complaining about anything, homes. I'm just sharing a little tidbit my mom told me.

Same, just one kid. I've told people that if my kid dies before me, I'm killing myself. They brush it off or tell me that's awful to say, but I'm dead serious. It's selfish to those that would be left behind, I know this but living would be unbearable if they died.

The guy went for the trunk before he realized it was jammed and ran.

Maybe he had a gun or something in there?
