A book is now coming out that claims Dr.Fauci knew that this cancelation was because of a directive from the White House. If this books report of the facts are accurate it still falls short of what I would call 'caught lying' for Dr.Fauci to have refrained from stating that the grant was cancelled because of a non-specific White House directive.
