Equally for most things, even though our income isn't equal. I pay slightly less for our internet bill because I voted against the "upgrade," but everything else is 50/50.

We have separate accounts for our incomes and savings and a joint account we both put money into when it's time to pay bills or make large purchases. Small purchases (under $100) we just take turns but we don't keep track that thoroughly of who's turn it is.

That was 1 year ago today.

I worked nights for almost a year before going back to my first shift job. The transition wasn't too hard given that my SO already worked nights (and still does). Just get blackout curtains and start your sleep schedule as soon as you can. Your circadian rhythm will catch up, and melatonin helps too. My biggest problem was trying to revert to the rest of the world's schedule on the weekends and switching back to 3rd shift on weekdays. But it was necessary for me to keep a social life and go shopping when store were open.

Besides changing all the appearance settings, I have to listen to every ringtone.

I started a new job about six months ago and in the first week my boss shared way too much information about everyone with me. I don't share anything personal with him for that reason.

Made a batch of iced coffee. Drank too much of it. Painted my nails. Lounged.
