Why would she refuse this? It’s a simple ask meant for the good of the community.

To be fair here….Probably yes. Our jaws are not bog enough to hold them without causing other issues. For example, the roots can push into your sinus cavity which is what happened to me and the resulting extraction was excruciating.

Tip I learned: strip kid immediately upon getting home and wash hands and face thoroughly. Maybe with a six month old straight into the bath?

I discovered Solver recently when trying to help the cash application team at my company apply some massive payments that came in for accounts with hundreds of invoices. I was able to get the huge majority applied before the deadline on the first day of the month and for a short time, I was everyone's hero that day!

My two year old watches WAY more tv than I want and I feel like such a POS mom for it sometimes. But also, I’ve got stuff to do like feed said kid so I need her distracted a bit.

Try not to beat yourself up over it and take solace in the fact that more people do this than not.

I’m your height. Tons of women are this height (honestly I’m surprised that the average woman is supposedly 5’8” - maybe if you’re Dutch?).

Wearing heeled shoes, even low ones, with slim bootleg jeans has always made me feel much taller. Anything to elongate the leg - avoid mini/midi skirts and dresses since they visually chop you in half.

It looks totally healthy, with some hard water spots on the leaves? The browning looks normal, at the edges. You can peel it off pretty easily.

Yeah agreed. It doesn’t leave much for wiggle room, and if you have kids/dream of having enough money to retire, it’s even more laughable.

You won’t be able to kill, this, even with effort. They are STURDY.

I feel you so much on this. While I’m not divorced, I’m not fully confident in my relationship at times and I so desperately want another baby to give my daughter a sibling. It breaks my heart she’ll most likely be the only kid.

Hopefully you can get a little space from your SIL and mom without upsetting either of them, and give your kid the most rocking birthday ever.

I totally get it!! Definitely ask about the sealant, they may not do it on baby teeth but worth a shot. Also I learned a while back from my dentist who was really into homeopathic remedies that foods like leafy greens, strawberries, apples, carrots and other high fiber fruits/veggies like that stimulate saliva production and help scrub away plaque.

Sometimes keeping teeth cavity free is an uphill battle :-/. But you sound like you’re really on top of it!

Maybe this will be helpful: https://kellymom.com/ages/older-infant/tooth-decay/

I agree that finding a new dentist who is solutions-oriented rather than jumping to conclusions (and crowns!!) is a good idea.

Full stop, breastfeeding does not cause cavities.

Some people just have bad genetics when it comes to their teeth enamel.

Ask if you can get sealant put on, and ask for a scrip for supplemental fluoride gel. These were what stopped the multi-cavity cycle in my family.

Holy s***.

I would NEVER, EVER forgive this.

You are SO NTA here. You could have lost your kid forever, and that thought chills me to my bones. I can feel tears welling up just imagining it.

AFAIK no benefit changes were made, unless the plan was updated by my employer without telling us? In both cases, the item charged was a CT scan with contrast. In one event, it was for appendicitis and the other was a kidney infection.

Employer/COBRA Insurance Co-Insurance Application - Why does it sometimes get applied and sometimes not?

This might be a silly suggestion, but I deal with high volumes of invoices in excel also. Not sure what system you use to generate the invoicing; could you run an invoice details report instead of looking 3200 separate docs? Depending on what your use case is, you may not have that option.

I had a chick like this last year. I was CONVINCED death was imminent; had said our goodbyes and everything. Just to ensure we truly tried everything, we basically gave a last-ditch effort on process of elimination and concluded she had Coccidiosis. She didn’t have 100% of symptoms but we tried Corid on the chance it would help her. We put a dropper full of the mixed solution 3-4 times a day along with Nutridrench and raw fresh egg yolks (all separately) and she made a complete recovery.

Note: she had been vaccinated for coccidiosis but there are multiple strains as we learned. She never ever had bloody stool but within 24 hours of the Corid she had improved. Coccidiosis prevents chicks from absorbing nutrients so they fail to grow. I would really urge you to try this - it won’t hurt them if they don’t have it.

Wow. I was watching USA women’s volleyball play yesterday and kept seeing them tugging at the bikini bottoms and it filled me with resentment on their behalf. I can’t imagine having to focus on my sport while being uncomfortable and constantly readjusting my outfit.

I’m in accounting also. Reading this feels like the bane of my existence. Always in some kind of argument with Excel 🙄.
