Mm, I never denied that british words have more letters, but I don't think it's a reason to treat British English as more complicated than American one. Especially, with a view to insult Americans

You don't know how languages work, don't you?
How does it manifest itself? Why is American English easier? American English is not a "simplified" one. It's just another form of English.
Even so, what's then? Why are you convinced that hard language=good language?
Dictionaries describe how people speak, but people do not speak the way dictionaries prescribe. It wasn't like: "Hey, let's speak the way this book tells us" and then American English was born. People spoke as they wanted, nobody made a simplified version of the language on purpose.
