This hits way too hard. My stop losses triggered during the flash crash, and by the time I noticed, the prices had bounced above the stop loss price.

I am type-1 diabetic myself. Have been since I was 14. Am 29 now. The insulin prices are ridiculous in the US. Had to deal with them while I was doing my Masters there. I'm Indian, and here at home, the cost of a Month's worth of insulin is 1/16th the cost of the same kind of Insulin in the States.
I wish your family well. Your kid will be fine. DM me if you have any questions about growing up with T1D.

Circumcision is a hygiene thing, and it was medically recommended for me. I had a foreskin with a tinier than usual opening as a kid and around 6 years of age, I started getting infections that would cause a burning sensation. Doctor recommended that I get circumcised to prevent infection from the of drops of urine that were left inside after I was done peeing. And I have never had any problems masturbating.
It's a pointless flap of skin that I don't understand why people get so sensitive about. Imagine having a ring of loose skin around your armpits. It's not like those areas are not gross enough already without the extra flesh there to hold in the moisture and incubate the bacteria. It's just cleaner to have it removed.
It is recommended in the old testament because in dessert regions with a lot of dry heat it is easier to be dehydrated and have a more toxic pee concentration. So dessert civilizations realised sooner that it causes less problems for boys if that extra skin on the tip of the penis is removed early.

Increasing divisibility is equivalent to increasing supply. You just gave people 10x the ability to throw the currency around. We could use the same idea and scale upwards. Instead of adding another decimal point, just 10x the BTC in everyone's bags. There's now 210 million BTC to play with. You're saying that won't tank its value?

Extending your logic upwards then should not cause dilution of value. Instead of adding a decimal point, we could just 10x everyone's bags. Functionally equivalent. And you're saying that won't tank the value of bitcoin?

Just back of the envelope calculations here, but 21 million BTC equally distributed to ~7 billion people on earth gives everyone 300,000 sats. That's enough to do daily trade and purchase with.
We may need to add more given everything lost and all the greed. But my point is that if we just ripped out the bottom and let a sat be almost but not quite nothing, BTC would not be worth anything.

It stops at a Satoshi and a Wei for a good reason. Computational lack of space, first. But I also think that it devalues the coin to have it beyond atomised in its distribution.

COMEDY Would an infinitely divisible crypto currency be just as bad as a crypto with infinite supply?

The next time someone tells you not to smoke tell them that methamphetamine causes 3 times the number of deaths as tobacco does.
