That's a DVD Receiver, as it says there on the back. It's probably from a cheap all in one home theater system, since it has speaker outputs for surround sound. There's also no audio outs, so you can't connect it to your receiver. If you want a cd player to connect to your receiver you should just get a proper one. You can probably find one really cheap on ebay or good will. This isn't going to work.

It's important to note the bit rate of the MP3s. If they are high bit rate like 320kbps then the untrained ear probably wouldn't hear the difference on 'normal' speakers. If the MP3s are low bit rate then yes the low quality would be noticeable. Try listening to a 96kbps MP3, it sounds horrible. 128kbps used to be the standard back in the day so I guess it is passable, but probably still noticeable compared to higher quality. At 192kbps and above its less noticeable to the untrained ear.

Mario 64, Goldeneye, OOT, Starfox 64, Rogue Squadron, in that order.

I also vote for UE. The Megaboom puts out impressive sound for it's size. I use a Boom 3 around the house and it sounds quite good for what it is. Battery life is good. You could also look into a JBL boombox, but it might be too big and/or expensive.

Probably 1995, a friend of mine had Nevermind on CD and I think that's the first I heard them. It was also the time when I first started an interest in music at all. Shortly thereafter my dad bought me my first two CDs - Nevermind and Dookie.

In high school I had the dvd sets for seasons 1 and 2. That show had some good highs, and also some lows.

That's great. It seems like they are so unknown, I never come across anyone else who likes them, or even knows anything outside of the Unplugged covers. I really like all of their stuff from mid 80s through mid 90s

I think Nirvana would have put out at least one more album, with You Know You're Right on it. Considering how good YKYR is, I think the fourth album would have been quite good.

How would they transport that to that location. It seems too massive to do so.

I had a Gamegear with Sonic 2. I could never get past the hang glider part a couple levels in. No matter how many times I tried I would always just fall and die, the most frustrating thing ever.
