They are plastic figures with diecast parts. There is some minor assembly with the accessories but nothing major. The figure itself comes pre-assembled.

Honestly probably pretty close to what you paid if you factor in shipping and fees. Check sold listings on eBay for an idea.

I've been able to slightly hide stress marks with dry erase markers before. Just write over the mark and wipe away. Some of the ink should darken the stress mark but it won't be the exact color.
