My brother was on an airplane taking off from EWR and my girlfriend was at her office four blocks from WTC and also went through the WTC PATH station that morning. I watched the towers fall from the roof of the building I worked in. It was hours before I found my GF covered with WTC dust and to walk along with thousands of others trying to make our way home.

It was a f*ked-up day. Memories and emotions are funny - the first time it hit me was on the 5th anniversary. You didn't have to be stuck in the building to be upset about your experience.

So there were a lot of frantic phone calls that day.

Why does it have to be wine?

I have a circle of wine enthusiast friends - we know each others' tastes and preferences and if i visit one for dinner, I bring a bottle we can drink then, and another I know they'll like that they can enjoy later.

But IMO it's silly for people who aren't familiar to try to buy wine for people who are. Would you buy a mechanic a wrench? He probably has all the wrenches he needs and also knows which ones he prefers.

The bump in the night gun is a P220 in 10mm. Right now the bump in the night rifle is a Kriss in .45. I like the Eotech sight on that one but I don't have much experience with others so I thought I'd ask the subreddit. But yeah, other than the iron sights all three I mentioned are bare.
