$25ish per game over here in NJ (+$45 yearly USA hockey membership). 12 player minimum + goalie. Usually 10-12 players show up. The more players you have & the further you get in the playoffs the cheaper it gets (but 3 line rosters are eh with less ice time—still in my 30s here so 2 lines is still all good for the time being, ha). Totally agree it's a bonehead move to put 20-25 players in the pricing sheet to make it appear cheaper than it is, but overall the pricing seems to be on par nationally.

There's a difference between having your exterior lights on (assuming they're pointed at a reasonable angle) and having flood lights pointed selfishly at your neighbor's windows or onto their property. Light up your property all you want—not mine.

Through alibaba, overseas companies like blaze-sportswear.com quoted $20.80 per jersey. If you go on the site, you can put out a request for quotes and at least a half dozen companies will get back to you within 24 hours. It seems shady & it's harder to work with an overseas company than stateside, but if you're willing to deal with that extra hassle, you'll save hundreds. Keep on mind all these quotes were with our team supplying a logo to them. Expect a higher quote if you don't have a logo available for them. Good luck.

restoathleticusa.com quoted approx $40 per jersey.
Hockeytron.com does custom jerseys for $35 per jersey.
Verberohockey.com jerseys start at $40 per jersey.

We have a graphic designer on our team. He found a manufacturer overseas through Alibaba–they print sublimated jerseys like these for $20-40 a piece with a 3-4 week turnaround time.
Plenty of sublimated vendors in the States that do it for a $40-$60 price point as well.

Is this real?
If so, holy cow that's incredible & you're an inspiration. Who do you play with?? Are you playing ice hockey??
Would love to see video of you playing or even just a photo of you holding a hockey stick with a smile on!

As a client, you're not only paying for the strategy, you're paying for the people who came up with this particular marketing tactic to have many other ideas just as good or better than this. This is only 1 tiny little relatively insignificant tactic of a much larger strategic plan across multiples divisions and discplines of BK's advertising budget.

For context, this video isn't an ad for BK that ran publicly in any way. This is a reel from an ad agency (Ogilvy) that showed their guerilla campaign marketing tactic, so that's why "they seem proud of the ad". A reel like this is shown either on an ag agency 's website/social media or as a submission to an advertising award show.

What's the objective of this iconography? Is it intended to be an actual logo for a brand or product or is it just a symbol?

Just sending out general diabetes info, since once about a time I didn't know anything about it...Kaapo is a Type One diabetic (T1D). This means that there was nothing he could have done to avoid it, and there is no cure (at this time). Insulin is produced naturally by the pancreas. Insulin is needed by everyone because it regulates your blood sugar levels. A type one diabetic's pancreas does not produce insulin properly. A type one diabetic needs to adminster insulin to themselves to live. They usually do this by either using needles or by wearing a "pump", which is a device that acts as a pseudo artificial pancreas. If a type one diabetic stopped taking their insulin then there are both short term and long term scenarios that could be fatal. The short term issue would be that if their blood sugar became too low and they could pass out, be out in a coma, and die. If it is too high for too long they could go into diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) and die. In the long term, without taking insulin they would lose their vision first and then their internal organs would fail. While the cause of T1D is unknown, it is likely that there are genetic factors involved. T1D can symptoms can appear at any age. Type 2 diabetes is generally contracted from improper diet and health routines, and can sometimes be reversed. Genetic factors also weigh in on the susceptibility to becoming a type 2 diabetic. Hall of Famer Bobby Clarke is perhaps the most famous NHL type one diabetic. Max Domi is another current NHLer with T1D. Not sure if there are any others, either way, it's an inspiration for all T1Ds to see these guys succeed as professional sports athletes. I hope Kaapo fulfills and smashes his potential to flourish into a bonafide stud out there. #LGR

Definitely. Don't be shy—strike up a convo + let people know you're pumped to be at your very first open hockey. Good luck. FWIW having a great shot is nice, but skating is just as, if not a more important element of the game. Get that down first for sure.
