While I don't disagree with the whole movement and think everyone should be happy, I think going to this extent to correct and force the right pronouns (that can be changed any second) on everyone is delusional and not helping anyone.

I won't and can't agree with correcting pronouns fixing anything (even by a little). That's wishful thinking. It's this whole culture that's evolved around being PC that makes people bend. Those are the ones saying thank you. Did they care? I don't think so. If you are not bending, you're getting called transphobe and snowflake. That's not very helpful to get more people to join that movement as that's showing the real snowflakes.

Look, you say the people are being opressed and our hero was adcocating for them. How are they being opressed with people misgendering without malicious intent? Thats exactly whats wrong with this movement. People just assiging someone being opressed while assiging themselfes being a saint for acting against while neither the "oppressed" person, nor the person misgendering cared.

What strikes me wrong there is swooping by to correct absolutely everyone like it's his destiny and even having people thank him. Maybe I don't make as much out of those pronouns as other people but no, I don't care which is right.
Funny enough while I would do the same for any other comment, were the spam comments in some other context, the downvotes would come by themselfes.
