If you mean realistic driving physics, then racing sims like the DiRT games are pretty good I'd say, good, but probably not the best. Grand Turismo or Project cars 2 is also quite good, or so I've heard. Although they all lean towards the racing part...

I think it's because the trains are backed up for several stations due to over crowding. Trains have to wait for the one Infront to clear the station repeat for a couple of stations and you get a decent amount of wait before the train can leave.
