Not an answer but perhaps a solution...
I tried to do the same thing last week. After awhile of messing with folders and permissions I gave up and started from scratch. If you save you watched status to Trakt first you can be up and running fairly quickly with out the frustration and wasted time.
There's not a lot of time required to setup Jellyfin from scratch. Plus you can check out how much faster your NUC is in doing the library scan!

This is the way I do it apart from I'd use NFS or SMB mount for a local network drive.
I'd use rclone mount for something like mounting a cloud drive to a VPS.

My setup at the moment is bandcamp to purchase the music then use roon for meta data management, orchestration and local streaming. Neither package manager nor trackercontrol see any tracking by the roon app.
Roon is expensive but it does what it foes so well.

Away from home i use Plexamp with a burner account hosted on a VPS in the netherlands. Plex does run telementary on users so this is not ideal.

Why are you giving it up?

COMMENT May 10 '21
Yes, that is what i thought but i've tried about 300 tracks now. I've selected from recent and popular pop lists which are more likely to be in FLAC. But zero have been downloaded. Hit rate is normally much better than this even for more obsure stuff.

OK, understand your prioritisation of weight loss. On your original question, I'd say take the calorie deficit where you can. If you're not hungry then don't eat. Avoid starving yourself and eat enough protien. Weight loss leads to muscle loss but you want to minimise that as its difficult to regain (especially for those of us with bad knees).
You shouldn't really get sore muscles from normal daily tasks. I'm wondering if stretching the areas would help.

Then why are you exercising and bothered about being sore?

It's not quite recommendations but I'd suggest Roon. It is a front end that integrates Tidal. It has an excellent Radio feature that plays once your current selection ends. I've found many new artists this way.

Being sore isn't an indicator for you here. If you are resistance testing then more important is regularly triggering muscle protien synthesis (MPS) to repair and grow muscles. MPS can only be triggered every 2-3 hours and some say only limited amount of protien can be absorbed each cycle (c. 20grams). So scheduling 4-5 meals per day maybe be required to get your protien requirement.
The above can be done whilst in a calorie deficit. I'd recommend having a look at RP diet app which can support on this sort of eating plan. There's a two week trial period.
I think fapping would have a nominal affect on this topic.

I'd be tempted to:
Move a rest day to after you first squat session
swap your second squat session for deadlift plus a deadlift aux exercise
Edit: if you're doing exercises like the squat for the first time I would recommend you getting a coach who knows what they're doing to show you good technique.

Of the two I've only used RP Diet but I do like it for the structure. Ultimately any diet will become boring and dull. With RP Diet it becomes more autopilot with app reminders and schedule. You don't have to worry about planning the whole day (just each meal as it comes). I do tend to eat alot of the same meals but I don't mind that.

Joanthology by Joan as policewoman. Not expecting much from an anthology of a fairly young artist but must have had it on loop for about two weeks.
Very underrated artist.

I've had an oura ring for a couple of years and I always had REM stats like that. I asked my friend, who is a sleep and readiness consultant, who's view is that wearable struggle to differentiate types of sleep. A good one, like oura, is accurate about when you're asleep but not the stages of sleep.
I've stopped worrying about it since then. As long as I get my hours asleep right I'm good.

Thanks but would I be using rsync if I'm doing an NFS mount? I thought they were different things.
