Haha, I’m just laughing at “over a rock”, caught me by surprise!

Oh yea, I remember this time period, I remember printing out some pictures of the Nintendo "Revolution" to bring to school to show my friends.

Well, you don’t need to learn common sense, but how to take care of a cast iron pan is not about logic, it is about knowledge of how to do it.

Well as I said I disagree. Job sites are not sterile environments where everyone is a robot and can interact with each other completely without emotion. Once you allow relationships to develop beyond “you and I are parts of a machine” you have to account for things like hazing.

I really think it depends, I was a grip for 5 years and went through some hazing. Some is good. You learn a bit and feel included because even though you were the butt of the joke the other guys did involve you in a tradition so to speak. But I didn’t stick with crews that treated me like shit and were constantly messing with me.

As someone that has, I appreciate a bit of hazing is important and healthy but seriously, don’t push it. If the new guy is a lazy asshole then whatever, but if they are an earnest and hard worker it can cause real stress, make them feel unimportant and cause them to resent you.

Just saying, it shouldn’t go on constantly. There needs to be balance.

Jokes on you, now I’m not hauling cable around or climbing ladders and working hard, I’m just fucking off to pretend to look for the elbow grease or whatever.

Where do we submit our applications for moderator or beta tester?

What is that title? What is the article about? That is the point of headlines.

Wow, OP just asked Reddit to do the sister’s homework, got his answer, and fucked off, leaving us all with questions about what weird course this is for and what other weirdness is going.

It is a demonstration, not a real panic attack. No idea why they did it in Costco, maybe people have panic attacks in warehouses a lot.

COMMENT 11h ago

Dude, what is your problem? So many people act like these people are going out and telling their friends to stop watching a movie so they can show off to them.

Do you hate documentaries like “How It’s Made” cause the people in them are showing off their professions?

This video was interesting and the only other way to see how a service dog does it’s job would be to follow someone with an actual disorder around and film them go through a crisis. This way is obviously better.

Yes…I’m sure that is why they did it.

Generally a lawful character must respect some authority. It might not be the law or the government but it could be the rules of a club or gang. CJ might be lawful evil given his respect for Grove St.

I know there is an argument for personal codes but I really disagree with that. It means the Joker would be lawful because he always tries to be funny even if he is being awful.

Commenting to save for later.

We absolutely can prevent damage from these types of events though.

So do warnings about pandemics. We should maybe start listening to them. Though I doubt we will.

This was very clever.

I mean that is great but should you put yourself in financial peril to save your dog? If you live pay check to paycheck let’s say, should you take on $50,000 in debt to save your dog?

This rescue could easily have cost more than that, recently had a mainline sewage stoppage that requires opening the street and it was insanely expensive. I’m sure working throughout the night and using specialized tools to get this done cost someone a lot. Hopefully it is someone who can afford it.

I’m going with ankle weights. I thought the same thing. Even though he’d likely sink if he stayed vertical, I’m not sure he could have move forward like that due to the buoyancy.

It’s all good, sorry for being a dick about it in retaliation.

That is due to China completely ignoring the law. It is more difficult to force a super power to obey your copyright than some “fan” making t shirts.

Moms do this anyway.

It isn’t. It is very dangerous but this guy was either faking or had a panic attack.

I don’t know about other gamers or “gamers as a whole” I can only say my position on it.

Witcher III is one of my all time favorite games. I was extremely excited for cyberpunk and didn’t follow a ton of the ore-release info because I wanted to be surprised. I was still disappointed by a lot of what was missing but I had fun. I beat the game and went back for more. I plan to olay it again. Maybe I don’t value my money as highly as a should, maybe I am too forgiving, but I enjoyed the game and wasn’t massively pissed off by the things I was expecting but didn’t receive.

CDPR definitely fucked up, no question. But I do believe they can still make great games. I look forward to what they release next. If it is another risk like cyberpunk, I expect them to do better than they did with cyberpunk. If they don’t then I will trust them less and I won’t look to them for great games anymore unless they prove themselves again.
