I recently got pregnant with an IUD in. It was properly placed and well under the expiration date. You were lucky that your birth control didn't fail.

See a physical therapist. They do evidence based medicine. A good one can do amazing things.

I am in a book club now. I did always love reading but hated highschool English. Mostly because of that (also because I am more of a math person. I like there to be a demonstrably right answer). But in bookclub we talk about authorial intent a lot.

We discussed why we all hated doing it in highschool. Some was because it was forced too much, but we agreed a major factor is lack of life experience. It was so much harder to understand author motivations and the things that influenced them and why that would matter.

Claire's also sells fashion glasses. My 3 year old was inconsolable after daddy got glasses. My mom found them for her and she wore them non stop for like 3 months.

They made another version of this with pottery. It's called the great pottery throwdown. It's not as good as British baking show but I enjoyed it.

I drive through there all the time. There are technically cones but they are extremely confusing and changing constantly. When something like this happens three times in a matter of months it's not the drivers with the problem.

The dreaded alligator death roll phase. You are not alone. I have no solutions. I just sort of pinned them down and did it fast. They eventually stop.

I wish they would just keep their name on the screen during their segment. In the beginning it's so confusing to keep them all straight.

Maybe it's because people are literally dying. Maybe that is exactly the time to be really upset about something.

Yes I'm surprised how many people feel the need to day train and night train at the same time. Most kids aren't ready for them at the same time. It creates a lot of unnecessary stress.

My son got blisters on his back near the waste band. He was allergic to something in those, target's brand and Huggies. I was stuck with the expensive honest or seventh generation diapers. He also reacts to some band aids. Still not sure exactly what it is he is allergic to.

A few years ago on the colonoscopy? Maybe they need to do another one.

Have you ever had a capsule endoscopy? I read recently that 30% of Crohn's patients only have active disease in the small intestine which can not be seen during a regular colonoscopy/egd.

Prana sells quite a few pants and shorts that have elastic waste bands and they aren't even maternity pants. For instance: https://www.prana.com/p/kanab-pant/W41190696.html

I would say two things. 1) There are people with no disease that have a positive ANA it is not a very specific finding and if additional testing found nothing it's probably fine. 2) If you don't feel like the rheumatologist did enough testing or didn't address your concerns then I would suggest trying a different rheumatologist. I know that is a lot of work.

When I had a positive ANA they sent me for a rheumatology consult.

When I was in college I worked at the center for student academic support. There should be something like that at your college. An office that specifically works with special needs students. You need to visit them and talk to them about your needs. They will be able to make the professors take you seriously. They might also be able to offer a place where you can take tests by yourself and have bathroom access throughout the test. Get it on the record now that you may need special considerations.

Otherwise in college if you need to go, you don't need to raise your hand and ask, you just discretely walk out of the room do your thing and come back. I always made sure to pick an aisle seat somewhat close to the door.

I know how terrible it is to me mid test and really needing to go and even needing to go multiple times. Luckily most of my professors new me quite well and knew I was not using the bathroom to cheat.

I had those for my first colonoscopy using the pills some 18 years ago. I asked my doctor about it and he said they don't use the pills any more because it caused kidney failure in some patients. So pills may not be available everywhere, but they sure are way more pleasant than the drink that makes me dry heave every time.

I used lemon drops for my last one and enjoyed those as a "chaser". I think using jolly ranchers for the last 4 put me off of them.

Honestly a group of kids, a park to play at and cake. Do you even need games? They are going to have so much fun with whatever playing they come up with.

Yes she is. She is finishing first grade. The school provides speech therapy because she still does sound substitution and has fluency challenges, but her speech is good enough I don't think most people would notice and no one has trouble understanding her anymore. It is presenting some challenges with learning to read but she is getting there.
