Sounds like you are describing communism

I’m curious if there’s ever going to be a correction, or if the markets are just going to continue in fantasyland forever

“Break into an active session of Congress and attempt a coup? That’s a paddlin’.”

Socialism for the rich, rugged individualism for the rest of us

I just read the first sentence of each bullet point and the answer is yes. Also, what they’re doing is called constructive dismissal.

COMMENT 19h ago

The fun part is it will be lawyers and accountants getting the boot and not low wage earners like they always said

I don’t give a shit about these “up to” sentences until one of these fucks actually gets anything more than a slap on the wrist

What’s sad is that almost all the deaths happening now are completely senseless. None of these people had to die.

If you want to have a voter base that appreciates diversity, keeping men out of higher Ed is the opposite of the solution.

The uni will have insurance. You will need to coordinate with your department to make a claim.

Here’s a thought: a way to solve the retail and restaurant worker “shortages” is to reduce demand.

Now everyone will be tightening their belt and cutting out unnecessary expenses after UI gets cut. Families will be shopping and eating out less. Good job, America.

These always get buried because the shooting could have happened but didn’t. It’s a shame that few people know about the lives saved

I’d advise to buy a couple of cameras and put one outside your front door and one on the driveway. Maybe a third anywhere your property meets theirs. Wyze cams are about $30 online and work great.

They’re trying to squeeze everyone out so they can sell the property

That’s true. I think the big thing is that the early retirements caused a bunch of millennials who had no advancement opportunities to suddenly be able to move up the ladder. The place we see the workforce lacking is at the bottom

COMMENT 2d ago

It’s already happening and has been happening for decades. Just like the gas wars in the 70’s where corporate chains undercut all the indie stations and ran them under.

Raising wages may cause some of this to get worse, but regulatory capture is the real issue here. People can’t sustain working for less than it costs to live.

“This country has a work ethic problem, and it’s the lack of ethics in the workplace.”

“Gee, why won’t people willingly cripple themselves for a paltry wage and an employer that doesn’t care about them?? I don’t get it.” - you

Lol you just said “no license and can’t speak English.” looks like you fuckers ran out of desperate people. Sucks to suck.

That’s really hard and dangerous work paying barely over minimum wage where I am. Hard, hard pass.
