Wiggins never seemed lazy, more spaced out. We all know people who are just “yeah…what?” and that’s the impression I always got from him. Simmons just seems scared to look bad and is super image-conscious so it’s more annoying. Wiggins I don’t remember ever being concerned with image.

I think of this often and hope to increase my reliance on it in the moment.

Which is weird as you’re on the set of Jumanji

I did the same for my lot: $1k for the plan, to have them do it $125k. After I woke up decided I'll knock a good chunk of it out myself over a (much) longer timeline.

In what world is Matt Damon typecast? Talented Mr Ripley, Bourne, Informant, Oceans, Courage Under Fire, Suburbicon, etc. Guy has crazy range

Seriously. I’ve always been knows as a person who gets things done fast and as long as you’re willing to stand up for yourself it’s never been an issue. The real LPT is to find companies that treat employees decently, and realize it’s not always easy.

Of course you can, especially if you’re part of a product team you’re dedicated to. If I get things done early I leave and have for years, and work for a massive company everyone knows. It’s very common in parts of tech.

Model Y actually released early. Also in fairness pretty much all car manufacturers are hitting major delays due to chip shortages and supply chain constraints.

Ever watch Pacquiao vs Mayweather? There's nothing super unrealistic about a small, fast, technical fighter beating a heavyweight.

I mean they weighed in at like 146

Awesome work, inspirational. Am doing something similar where the garage needs to house 2 cars, have space for workbench/tools, lawn equipment and a home gym w/ heavy bag and on top of it be aesthetically pleasing. Will definitely use your example

Not sure he's the right guy for a truck review, even a high-tech EV one. While the old joke is 90% of truck owners don't need actually them, if you own a house (or boat, camper, ATVs, etc.) they certainly come in handy and not sure MB can speak to the utility.

Interesting, I've been following the Tesla subs for years and feel the criticisms are pretty open and accepted (overall quality, lack of customer service, bad communication, panel gaps, etc.); have found fair critiques usually upvoted and the "hurrdurr Tesla rules" usually ignored. At the end of the day, we've all spent $40K+ on a vehicle and want them to be nearly flawless and are annoyed when they're not, as we should be.

Tesla brigadiers beginning to be super rude in the community (breaking rule 4)

As with anything else, it's the loud minority but nonetheless annoying. I'd imagine most of us Tesla owners are fans of other EVs and wish nothing but success for Rivian; I'll happily buy one if it ends up checking all the boxes (I like the cybertruck a hair more than the R1T but it might just be too big, the wife wants the R1S). There's going to be Rivian buttheads the same as with any "club" but do hope this sub stays civil and supportive.

This is why I went ahead and got the Model Y last year even tho I reserved a CT right away. Assumed I’d be waiting for the CT for some time but wanted an EV and felt (still do) that Tesla is much further ahead in tech than anyone else so the resale will be much higher. While I really want an EV truck, don’t absolutely need one and can wait.

I didn’t realize his voice may recover, that’s fantastic. Not sure how with the hole in his throat but I eat hot chocolate powder dry so what do I know.

Tesla also announced and released 4 models and have sold over a million vehicles. I reserved a CT and honestly if the Rivian was the same price I might be swayed, that said track record matters and I have more faith the CT will hit less road bumps even if it’s another year or 2 out. I massively hope Rivian, Canoo, etc are successful however as I want variety and to be honest the CT is about a foot longer than I’d like.

Even if they have the best ICE (this from a multiple Toyota owner who loved them all), the fact that they’re trying to legislate against BEVs lost me likely for good.
