Edit: Nevermind I managed to fix it by deleting the registry key for the game...

I got past this after restarting the computer. Now it crashes right after the first explosion in the game.

Fixed: Go into your registry, go to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\owlcat and delete the entire key. Then restart the game, stay in the game without alt tabbing out and it should go past both the start up screen as well as the explosion.

They're also very "woke" and as a result lots of "gamers" dislike them as a default and continuously push the narrative that Kotaku is bad. It's actually really great imho.

Because the US has congress. And Republicans tried their best to stop everything Obama did. Similarly, progressives will try to pass bills and get stopped by right of center democrats (blue dog democrats) or by Republicans.

We haven't done anything because anything slightly right of center is deeply entrenched in nothing being wrong in the first place and that removing things is more progressive.

Even when democrats have the house, the Senate, and the presidency, they still don't have the ideological unification that conservatives have about falling in line (or else be censured: See Cindy McCain, or even Mitt Romney lol). So at the very least you'll get some progressive bills that might be good, might be bad, but push things forward.

You won't get that if Republicans have a majority in either the house or Senate. Those deeply entrenched in "both sides" ought to see republican majority states and how living there compares to a blue state.

I think in Trump's case it was mostly to help himself.
