I mean it’s a new pistol. I’m running the Hellcat which is a sub compact 9mm just using irons, most likely user error on my part.

Well thanks I appreciate that! I know I’m getting better but I have lots of room for improvement. That’s not a bad idea maybe I will break it out and see how it goes.

No I used to do that but I stopped!

I have a beretta 96 but I don’t have many rounds through it. I couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn with it so I haven’t touched it for years. That’s the closest thing I have to a full sized pistol. I also bought an LCP before the Hellcat and quickly realized I probably shouldn’t be trying to get better shooting handguns with it. And yes i was shooting from 10 yards not 10 feet. I’m fairly experienced with rifles but with handguns not so much.

This is good advise. I’ll try it out, thanks!

Thanks a lot! This makes sense. I am doing the same thing with the arm all the way out. Next time I will try to give it some bend.

COMMENT 7d ago

I have not. I’m pretty inexperienced with handguns. I was thinking getting with an instructor might be a good idea. Thanks!

COMMENT 7d ago

I’ll get some. Have you ever tried the ones with the laser pointer in them?

Yeah it’s hard because it seems like so much info conflicts. One guy I watched said to use a 100% grip and then another source says to relax your grip. I think I need to work on just having a consistent grip strength for each shot

Lol i mean that is a solution

question I seem to be all over the place but mostly shooting left. Anyone have any good drills or resources that they have used to correct this? I’m trying to maintain a good grip and have a smooth trigger pull but can’t seem to get it.

Yeah you are totally right. I think the media had it out for him but I knew he didn’t have a broad enough appeal to win. Also I haven’t followed him much since the election I’ll have to look into that.

Perhaps. But she couldn’t win. I also could not stand Trump and 4 more years of him was not worth voting for a candidate that couldn’t win. I really wanted Yang to be the nominee but sadly the MSM had it out for him.

I would say that i most closely align with libertarian values. I voted for Biden and I generally vote blue. I believe in fiscal conservatism but sadly that doesn’t exist for either parties. I’d rather vote for people that actually care about freedoms and fighting injustice.

Yeah I just finished up year 3 and I make 100k at a big 4. It’s pretty brutal though, we are so short staffed.

Yeah I know. Good to have a concealed weapon available. I have my permit but I really don’t like carrying even my Hellcat is uncomfortable to conceal. I may get a holder for my little LCP.

I mean idk. Hate to be a pessimist but in the US we have a pretty big generation that can barely afford to live, a homelessness and drug crisis, an incompetent government, Covid, and the devastation of climate change on the horizon. I’d say things are only going to get worse onward.

Great to know, thanks! I have a couple ARs and a few handguns. I definitely need to put in some work with the handguns to build proficiency.

My first pistol was a Beretta chambered in .40. Then I picked up a LCP in .380 ACP and finally bought the Hellcat (9mm). If I could only keep one I’d keep the Hellcat. It holds the most rounds and has a very manageable recoil.

The problem is that most people don’t view going to college as an investment in themselves. At the end of the day that is why people should be going to college. You go to get an education for a job that will pay you more than what you could make without a degree. I managed to pay off all my undergrad loans in cash because I went to a CC and worked throughout school. Then I took out 40k in loans for a one year grad program. But now I make more money than I would be able to make without that degree. If you are going to go to college to party that’s fine but you better make sure you have a plan. Why should tax payers have to bail you out for your poor investment? I will say though that people should be able to declare bankruptcy on student loans. The fact that you can’t is disgraceful. If I can declare bankruptcy on other debt then I sure as shit should be able to for student loans.
