I work for Ford, and even I won't recommend a bronco here.
Get a 4Runner and forget that there's a profession called mechanics. š¤£

All $ amounts above were Canadian, so I am sure if you look a little within the driving distance you might find in $10k USD.

If you can afford to go for the 2012+, I'd u Suggest to go for those. I was looking for a used Camry as well (here in CA šØš¦), and kept looking for a while, until I found 2015 Camry LE with just 57k km on it for $12.5k private deal. This was driven by an elderly to just commute to doctors/govt offices lol. Whereas even one from 2010 with 150k km were going more than $13k.

Got a 2015 LE with just 57k km (<36 miles) for just C$11.5k. Elderly driven and well maintained. The car has a little scratches as the elderly were losing eyesight and couldn't drive well (not nothing very visible from a few feets.
Not sure how much crazy demand there is south of the border, but I'd say may be negotiate a little whatever you can.
Edit: yours is hybrid, so of course worth more than mine (mine is just gas).

Honestly this is dope! I recently moved to Camry, moved from Corolla to 4runner to Camry. I might consider getting this soon on my 2015 LE.

You get to shake her bed, alas by potholes only. It would be good to rock the bed without it being on your bed. š
Sucks to be Friendzoned. Us nice guys are usually the ones on this end. Move on.

I got this 2010 4Runner around a month back with just 126k miles (202K Km) here in Canada. It only had this surface rust. Confirmed no chipping of metal, and got the undercarriage tested by my mechanic as well.
I wanted to get this treated well before the winter arrives. After going through the posts, I found oil spray (Krown) seems to be the best suggested way to maintain the rust proofing over time.
However, do you guys recommend getting this corrected before the oil spray? I saw videos of people using metal wire to get rid of surface rust and using rustoleum coating. I do not plan to do any black rubber coating as I've seen it further increases the rust over time.
Recommendations?

I have heard 2014-16 are the worst years among all the years. They are still reliable nonetheless. Iād recommend to go 2017+ or 2010-13 are also very reliable ones (as far as I have read on forums).

This transforms your trusty 4R into a ET transformer. That will make your vehicle to rock crawl and mud crawl like no other vehicle.
