Looks like the OP is entering on the ramp. The owner of the car has an exit sign in his side, so he's on his right side.

Welcome to the family! Undeniably a great find (hoping it doesn't have any rust)!
How much did you pay?

Right on. I've been looking to camp on crown land. I didn't know that will also cost money apart from gas. 😛

And you've not seen how much the charge is for camping at one. Practically getting one is next to impossible. Plus they charge $50 due a campsite, plus extra for parking. Now if your friend is coming from a different city, you pay two parking. In the end, it leaves you wondering, I could've got a Airbnb at that price, I didn't need camping experience. In the States, it's pretty much $15.

I've been drooling over a Taco myself, even though internally I'm happy with my 5th gen 4runner. 🤣

Seeing this clean frame from the up north (🇨🇦), where frames from 2015 4runners might already be crumbling. Sob sob!
Edit: buy this deal before your FIL finds the real prices of these.

If I was you, I would have somehow got rid of this vehicle for as much as I can (before or after fixing). And get a Toyota even if needs a little top up of dollars. Solid investment - you could probably find a 2009-12 Corolla or Camry with 100-120k miles for less than 4k (Corolla for sure you should get). I've been on this for the last 3 years, and probably only spent $400 for every kind of maintenance including oil changes. You simply can't beat the value if you want to be on the path of FI.

Thanks, I got it all checked. Only issue that came up was the exhaust leak. But I'll budget for the other issues that might pop up at 10-11 years anniversary or on the occasion of crossing 200k km. 😂

Agreed! I went looking for a rust free one for weeks! Bet my money on the car without a safety certificate as everything seemed to be well taken care of. Only exhaust leak happened which might be just couple of hundreds.. Thanks!

18k from a dealer for 2010 seems a good deal. How many clicks on it and what was the general shape/condition?

Been looking at 4th gen vs 5th. This is around C$10k, limited with 195k km on it. So not a crazy deal especially since radiator also needs to be replaced. I'll wait for a good deal patiently.

Looking to buy a 4th Gen here in Canada 🇨🇦 It's a 2006 limited, only problems are the radiator which needs replacement and the rust. The rust on the frame above the exhaust silencer seems to be chipping bad. Doesn't seems to have a hole in it yet. There seems to be surface rust at quite a few places. With not a lot of inventory in the market these days, should I get this car and get the radiator fixed and frame sprayed with anti-rust or walk away? Thanks.

That's a great advice. Thanks. I did get the Fitness reality bench and rack combo from Walmart and it does suffice for most of my needs. It seems to be very sturdy. It is a value option without any bells and whistles, and I think I might use it till I actually get bored of the rack lol.
So I guess the option is to return the current equipment, and wait a little till BoS open their Toronto location.
Did you give a thought about Synergee barbell?

Correct, 855 was the stainless steel version (probably shipping was more to GTA where I live and including 13% taxes). That was a drool option. I'll check out XTC, thanks.
My main aim is to get a sturdy and versatile bar, as the bars and weight I've got aren't compatible with anything else.

Help me solve my dilemma - suggestions are welcome.
I live in GTA - Canada and started gym after 5 years. Prior experience have been also intermittent due to a busy lifestyle. I had started building a budget home gym recently and found I'm able to hit the gym more frequently.
My budget was only $1000 initially. Due to lack of stock and insane prices/delivery delays, I had gone down the path with standard barbell (2m/6.7ft) 10kg bar rated for 360 lbs and got combination of cast iron weight plates for 96kg (212lbs). This all equipment was around C$400 including tax (local pickup, so no shipping). I'm already at $1000 limit with just these weights, barbell and power cage and bench. After a little bit of research, Olympic barbell are more versatile and I think I'm more inclined towards a Powerlifting bar.
Also I noticed, I bought everything with 28mm holes (which is neither standard not Olympic), so if I've to expand in the future, I'll have to go with the same supplier or sell everything and buy again.
I'm still in the buyers remorse period and able to return the whole weights barbell combo to the shop.
I'm ok to put a little more down to buy equipment, but not a whole lot. I figured most stuff is on back order.. CAP OP86B - out of stock or prices increased to C$500+ (it used to be $150 pre-covid) Bar of steel Barenaked bar - delivered in about C$400 Rogue power bar SS comes to C$855 😂 Another option I could figure was Synergee barbell - C$300 delivered
Cast iron Weight plates - local company sourcing from China can get for ~400 (local pickup)
Should I stay and continue with what I have and build my strength till I overcome the current equipment or upgrade while I've have option. Also which barbell do you suggest for the Canadians?
Suggestions? Thanks.
