I'm having a ton of fun with it, the hoverboard has been a personal favorite. I prefer the jetpack from JC3, being able to take off from the water and ground was a nice perk, but being able to launch from the hoverboard mitigates that.

I also haven't noticed anything crazy as far as bad graphics. Really smooth FPS and good textures, but the cutscenes lag a little. That part is on me though because I'm playing on an Xbox One S, so not the newest console around.

For half a second I didn't recognize him with the hat, glasses and beard. Wonder if anybody recognized him on the beach? Is certainly a good disguise

Just an FYI, "Paarthurnax Dilemma" itself isn't on Nexus anymore because it was removed with Alternate Start, but there are a couple others that do the same thing. Haven't looked too much at them though because I can still use PD and AS if I don't uninstall them.

My current playthrough with the Aspect of Fear perk and other destruction perks has the Ignite spell doing almost 30 damage per second for 15 seconds, double casting it does almost 60 DPS for 15 seconds. It's pretty fun to stack it on a dragon and just watch it's health just melt.

Go look up any video on YT about the Fortify Restoration Loop. It can get pretty broken pretty fast if you aren't careful, as evidenced in the pic above lol

Did you make sure that the DLC installed? I had this issue when I bought the Complete Edition a couple weeks ago, the game installed but the DLC didn't. I had to individually download each DLC item and couldn't mass install for some reason. This is on Xbox by the way.

I think it is later, I'm not sure though. Been a while since I've been where you are in the game. Go check the Melynx merchant and see if he has Expedition tickets for sale, they will specify that they are for unlocking additional slots for monster expeditions. He also will sell Co-Op expedition tickets later on, but you don't have to worry about those right now. That will be introduced when you unlock Multiplayer. For future reference, even though it is labeled as Multiplayer, you can always do them solo and the game will give you an NPC partner. If you're playing on PC, I'm more than happy to help you out when you get to that point, same with others in this sub.

Yes, what u/aw5ome says is true. In my current playthrough I have a dragonbone sword that with some crazy enchantments on it but they don't deplete because I have armor and a ring and a necklace enchanted with fortify destruction. This also works for Absorb Health enchantments because it's considered a Destruction enchantment.

Something I haven't seen yet in this thread, invest your bottlecaps in unlocking Monster Expedition slots. You will be able to get bottle caps pretty easily later on, so they aren't necessary to hoard unless you want to.

The Monster Expeditions will have several options for your monsters to go on. Notable ones I have used are Exp focused, where the monsters gather less material but focus on gaining experience points, Treasure Hunter, where the monsters will try to find more rare materials that you can sell, and Material Hunter, where the monsters will gather extra materials like plants and bugs and sometimes Monster materials. It's likely that I have the names of the Expeditions wrong, I'm not looking at the game right now.

I tend to always have 3 Expeditions set for Treasure hunter sent out because later on you can get something called "Ancient Coins" from them that sell for 30,000 zenny each. It's pretty easy to gather a bunch of them from the expeditions, then go pop a Selling charm for an extra 25% boost in Selling price and rake in the cash. You will also get a bunch of Charms from the expeditions, so just throw the charms you don't care about into the Prayer Pot to level it ASAP. Will take 170 charms to level it up to max.

Late response, so you probably know already, but you will eventually unlock the Rite of Channeling to channel whatever genes you want on your monsties. Using the Rite of Channeling, you can combine up to 3 identical genes to make that said gene more powerful. Channeling genes sacrifices monsties though, so be careful what genes you want vs what monsties have them. You can look at your Book of Genes to see what genes appear on what monsters.
