Your last sentence fits D3 for me, just grinding the same maps over and over, but getting harder and harder is not what I would call interesting. I just think its repetitive and boring.

D2 is a game that you play through for the story/journey of your character and once your done there is not that much left. Unless you play higher difficulty with different characters. Which is similar to D3 in the sense that its repetitive as well. The only difference for me though is that I can replay D2 after having taken a break and still enjoy it while I think the campaign in D3 is quite boring and only replayed it twice.

There has been plenty of cases where a frontal charge from cav has utterly routed an enemy infantry formation.

And to your last point your clearly misunderstanding people. In a prolonged engagement yes the shock cav should lose against infantry with armour piercing weapons. But not in the initial fucking charge, its really not that difficult to understand. Either your trolling or your just straight up stupid.
