We have one in Francisville and it's great. Really like the chana masala, pakora, paneer tiki masala. Garlic naan also extremely good.

For you, and others reading this: street signs are fine, but do not lock your bike to a tree. The city may cut it.

The drive has become noticeably more busy and speeds have gotten faster over the last week. I figure it takes some time for the worst drivers to discover it to be back open.
This is just in case you rode it last week and thought (as I did) that being closed at Sweetbriar would make it safe for the full length.

He didn't win, but Jakobsen must have been 40-50 wheels back under the kite? Pretty unreal to find a route back to the front.

I mean I'm not going to pretend like there aren't some asshole cyclists, there definitely are.
But to operate in this city and not considered drivers to be the entitled ones boggles the mind. Let's just hang out at one 4 way stop for an hour and see what drivers do. Or walk around one neighborhood to see if drivers respect curb cuts for disabled individual's when they park. Or get out our radar guns on Kelly. Or get out our tape measures to see if the legally mandated 4 feet of space is given to cyclists. Or.....
At the end of the day the world is filled with entitled assholes who take all sorts of transportation. But only one of those transportation methods comes with awesome responsibility.

This guy lasted for a glorious month or two before the city made him shut his account down. He then ran for Toronto city council unsuccessfully. Good guy though!
Edit: Sorry, I didn't listen with sound. This isn't Ashley Parker, the original TPS office who did this. This is a new person, Erin Urqhuart. Go Erin.

Wow I really didn't think you would be able to do this. Proud of you stranger.

Legally, no! Safety wise: yes!
In a perfect world you would be scanning ahead to see the obstacle in the left lane and assume the USPS will not check his blind spot.
Again: not your fault! Drivers are trash. But if they're going to leave us out here to fend for ourselves we gotta do that.

This role has been filled, alternatively, by Cancellara, Van Avermat, Sagan.... It's always this way when you have medium strong climbing and better-than-most sprint

There isn't. They even say they want to re-implement the norm of wearing masks inside on the off chance it forces unvaxxed people to start wearing them again.

It seems like it's either?? The city person said that the shoulders were wide enough where "advanced cyclists" might choose to ride on the road.
But like everyone else looking at the width of those lanes and the likely speeds: ehhhhhhhhhhh?

fwiw The Bicycle Coalition of Philadelphia thinks this is NOT a bike lane, just a shoulder.
Pretty disappointing. (Though, it's good that philly doesn't think what they've striped is an adequate bike lane...)

Lesson one of urban design: the number of drivers is not fixed and is affected by the number of traffic lanes available. This is why closing (Seattle) or opening (LA, Houston) entire new freeways has virtually no effect on traffic.

Yes. This is only hypocritical if you, to quote a philosopher, think there is zero difference between Good and Bad things.

The ballots were being counted at the convention center, which is close to the Four Seasons, but not the same building.
