Oh that's actually the best time. You have to struggle but enjoy what you are able to afford so much more... After that comes the time where you have neither time nor money... And slowly but surely the time fades away even more but transforms into more money than before

Greybough plus the avenge demon generater xD its absurd even on early turns with 3+ demons each turn. I stayed on 3 2 turns got 2 triples and powerlvled to 5 from there you can basically choose what tribe you wanna commit to its super fun

Opportunity cost is a thing - it's actually a loss if you decide to make more content for Dota plus instead of stuff that flat out would make you more profit.
Furthermore it's not done with the lost profit, you have to count in the working hours to bring the people in, bring them to a state where they can pick up the project, create space for upper and lower employees and create the structure to make it a success in general.
All that is only the tip on the iceberg you have to evaluate if it's worth it to out the efford in ... And we haven't even talked about the shareholders or the risks and all that stuff
All those dudes talking about game defs not doing enough and studios beeing lazy is BS. They do what brings most profit in 95% of the time, and the 5% sometimes hits your game and the niech you wanna get fixed...

I'd love to see the quests move to 3 mana in wild. Give them some flavourful stuff by side (something like 3 armor for druid on play or 3 heath for warlock or a 2/1 parrot for warrior) and leave the rest like it is. That way the control player would be able to get 2 more turns to gather resources and decks wouldnt be able to exist in their current Form with the lack of control and the pure focus on the quest.
People who would want to play the quest were stilk able to play them but you could argue that it's no longer an instant win on t6 if you drew decent

I think the pirate tag would do it.
its a pretty good choice to pick if you already had a good pirare start due to the decent stats. you will most likely be able to get a triple or two with the additional pirate offered to you while leveling (won me the game twice with giving me an early 6star) the missing pirate tag is a little meh due to the lack of uncontested pirates in the early game. With beeing a pirate he would be a decent choice to hold for a turn or two benefiting from other pirates in the midgame. Without you most of the time be better just having another pirate and use that slot for utility/ buffing

I would simply like to see them nerving quests to 3 mana, and maybe give them a small incentive to play them, giving warlock 3 health or a 2/1 parrot with rush for warrior or something along those lines. Nothing powerful but flavourful. That way the ones that would like to play them can still go for it but have to deal with a guaranteed dead card for the first 2 turns and beeing slowed down two turns no matter what. That way you could establish some sort of board or card backup as control / midgame deck and not get obliterated turn 5

Made something similar with gorehowl xD and in the progress got my 10 triple archivement by turn 9... Mech deamon beast lobby.... For me it was fun xD

Most questlines are broken as fuck in wild because they can be somewhat instantly done turn 2... But what about making them cost 3 to begin with? I mean give them some flavor with playing them like give warlock 3 health back or warrior a 2/1 parrot to the board or something along those lines. And if you really wanna play that game you can put that shit into your deck and build a deck with it.
With that change you would slow down the quests significantly and make it so that you have to have 2 rounds a dead card in hand.
Mill dmg from warlock has to be removed from the questline in my mind

The only real reason for that can be that the player base of BG has to be somewhat significant / huge.
the player base has shown that they are willing to spend money on this low price point product. From there they have now spend a significant amount of resources to increase the player experience and the options to spend money.
If those cosmetics will not sell well for the next Def circle or two we will most definitely never see such a huge BG upgrade aggain

They could easy Make wild a revenue source aswell but they decided not to for now. My bet is that in future years the player base on Standart will slowly getting exhausted.
The problem is how expensive it is to keep it going and more will switch over to wild.
When that happens to an extent we will see wild bundles for a "lower" price point and maybe even full on "starter packs" for specific wild archetypes like: 30 bucks for 5 legs and 10 epics to start a Reno deck.
I would like to see discounted packs for wild or even discounted dust amount to craft wild stuff. With that I would maybe even try game modes that require certain stuff you don't use otherwise (duels). But let's be honest : thats never going to happen until activion is on the lead...

Tbf I have been more disappointed by blizzard several times and this one isn't even in the top 10 but : I do think they simply don't care for wild and that's pretty insulting for long time players (aggain)
