Man, do people just dance with their friends? I see these vids and wish I had friends like that growing up, it must be so much fun and liberating to not worry about looking stupid if you mess up

Was wondering the same thing. But yeah there was a marked improvement! Probably just a matter of confidence reducing the tension in her singing.

Damn Sibson fought well here. But nobody outworks Hagler, that man was the god of training RIP.

Thanks so much that's a big relief! That latency concern was a big hang-up on whether I should go for an amp or an interface, but I think I'm settled on buying an interface now.
The thing that really attracted me is that I have no idea what pedals/fx I might find important so I'm really interested in an audio interface that'd allow me to use DAWs to explore what matters to me rather than having to shop through a ton of physical gear.

I'm considering this route too for my first electric setup after years of acoustic. Have heard there's some risk of latency making it awkward to hear the effects in real time, is that a real concern I need to worry about?
Been looking at motu M2, SSL2+, and scarlet 2i2, but it's weird shopping for such a specific thing with all these bells and whistles when all I've known is acoustic. Had to have a GC employee explain how to get sound. I don't want to buy a halfway measure and have to upgrade later though so I'm trying to set myself up for the long haul with as few purchases as possible.

Not much to explain, Q has always wanted to be like a human. He's a weeaboo for human culture, he spends all his time reveling in human affairs, literally wants to marry an exotic human waifu and have kids with her. Wants his kids raised like a human.
Aging alongside Picard is 100% consistent with canon for Q.

Looks like she's a human in the past now, with Q anything's possible. She seems to have had a rough time with covid lockdown though

Yeah, if you imagine the food by it’s original ingredients, processed foods are a lot less appetizing. Like imagine the big pile of flour, sugar and butter of a cake vs. the meal you just cited and your meal is a lot more recognizable as food. Just a mental exercise that helps me, and hopefully may help others bias their own tastes towards choosing more nutritious foods.

Is he wrong though? The meaningful money is made when fighting names. Sure he will win against any top 10 HW, but will still take damage and wear on his body for minor payouts, and zero change to his legacy because people only remember the notable names on the record.
Golovkin beat Szeremeta last year. Set a record for middleweight title defenses. Who will talk about about a win against Szeremeta when looking back at GGG's career?
Title defenses used to mean a lot when the best were always fighting the best but the way things are divided by orgs and promoters it means the elites can avoid elites for years and rack up title defenses against the gatekeepers without proving anything more about where they stand against their true competition: the other belt holders.

Like an hour or so, the goal is consistency over intensity, so I keep it comfortable so it doesn't interfere with other exercise goals.
You could go harder but you can't really play at the same time. However if you're just watching TV or something then you can ramp up. Like watching Uma Musume is great, you can scale the speed to match the characters in the show.

Generous autoaim from controllers helps a lot! Keeping the controller by the rib cage stabilizes it a bit too, and you generally want to run with hands tracing the ribcage anyway.
For situations where you really do need stability, like if I'm doing division 2 raids with my friends, I can increase the incline and reduce the speed. A 6 degree incline power walk at 3.5mph is about the same energy as a 5mph jog with no incline, but will bounce a lot less. You just speed up or slowdown during the lulls where teammates are sorting through inventory or queueing up the next mission, etc.

I lost 15lbs from playing games and watching anime. On my treadmill. Already had the gaming PC and treadmill, only cost $20 to combine the two by mounting a shelf overhanging the treadmill and a shelf to span the treadmill arms for a keyboard and mouse.
Obviously the keyboard and mouse is just for work hours when I'm walking and I discard that for a controller when I'm playing games at 6mph. Something interesting I've found is that my heart rate will go down if I'm playing or watching something really engaging, but if it's boring, my heart rate goes up. I think this is because the distraction helps my body to subconsciously relax and settle into a steadier gait, but if I get all in my head about my running mechanics I lose efficiency from trying to make my body use a form it's not used to.
Puzzle games like slay the spire, into the breach, etc are of course the easiest. Shooters like Division 2 and borderlands work ok, but competitive multiplayer FPS is not doable while running. Also certain action adventure games were impractical, like AC Odyssey, because while my character is running through a field and I turn right sometimes I'll lean right slightly too and then I start veering off my treadmill.

For Defect, (besides the obvious Snecko Eye), the ways of playing meteor strike are Fusion or Chaos(also evoking or Looping the plasma orb), Recycling a different card (or just recycling meteor strike itself is also strong), Liquid memories or energy potion, Turbo, mummified hand.
There's of course a bunch of other ways to put it into play but I think those are the most common ones to rely on. Other stuf like Ice Cream, Fission, Snecko potion, ancient tea set/ lantern, etc those are less consistent or more rare. But you don't need all of these things to happen, you just need one of any of the above conditions to be met and then you're swimming in energy for the rest of the fight.

There's so many ways to put it in play that you've got decent odds of running into ways to put it in play eventually. Same goes for Meteor strike too.

It's more like, if someone says "I'm a worthless fuckup". You might disagree but that's their thing, you can shrug and let them believe that. However, if you care about them you can't let them keep thinking that.
You probably don't know what you're capable of, you won't have actually lived your full potential until you're approaching old age. But your parents remember the childhood qualities you've forgotten, and know at least some of the genetics you've got. They may be wrong, but they believe you can be amazing and it's going to be hard to get them to believe you're not.

If they robbed an individual they wouldn't investigate. They robbed a big source of tax revenue for the town, so a complaint there carries more weight with local politicians and thus the police. They aren't going to lose any sleep but they need to at least show enough effort that their bosses don't hear complaints from their bosses.

It's the same thing as small talk: "Bad weather out there huh?"
He knows it's bad, he knows you know it's bad. Why say anything? Why not just STFU? The reason they say those things is to throw out a lay-up to say anything in response and hopefully find something to discuss in detail.
In this specific case, he doesn't like JRPGs, maybe you do. Maybe you can articulate why you like them, and then a conversation can flow around the virtues of JRPGs. Maybe he can articulate why he doesn't like them, and a conversation can flow around the flaws of them.
Why share the opinions at all? It's for the dopamine release of social interaction. At the end of the day Reddit is another form of social media, feeding people the social interactions their brain craves, with the streamlined simplicity of a digital format, anonymization, organized and curated systemically for neat digestion and catering to my introvert tendencies of not requiring me to speak publicly, and instead rewarding long-form written response.

For sure, he gets talked about for his physical gifts and the ferocity he showed in attacking the opponent. It paints him as some dumb brute and it all sounds a lot like this Key & Peele sketch: https://youtu.be/IciBKdPlLfE
Nobody gets to be world champ without some ringcraft. Tyson was short with limited reach, and his boxing skill is what allowed him to leverage his weaknesses into strengths, and differentiated him from the other strong fast young men also chasing a belt.

He was hired to do the first. The real problem is with Disney buying the franchise and rushing to make a sequel trilogy BEFORE good scripts were developed for a trilogy. Which resulted in a back and forth of competing and conflicting movies and no cohesive vision arcing through them.
The real problem with the structure of the trilogy started with the executive strategy, before it even got to JJ. He was only brought back to do the third movie because the trilogy was already off the rails by the 2nd movie.

Not all of them but you need to know when the deadlines arrive. Turn 2 reptomancer is gonna fuck your shit up if you haven't killed at least 1 dagger, but ideally both. That's something you need to prepare for well in advance with innates, reasonable probability to draw AOE in 2 hands, draw power, potions, etc But you don't wanna just wing it, gamble on an elite fight, and realize you gotta block for like 120ish on turn 2.
Giant head doesn't really do anything to you until several turns into the fight, after which he'll deal boatloads of damage so all you need to know is that you gotta have scaling damage.
That sort of thing, have a rough understanding about what makes this fight different from others, because the developers didn't put any generic fights that are the same as others. Each fight asks you to be able to deal with a challenge, your deck building is supposed to be taking those challenges into account, solving for those fights before you get there.
