I'm a lawyer who does this for game devs. You pay the lawyer so you know it's done right without having to spend time learning how. If you have more time than money, there's really no secrets to forming an LLC. But you need to spend time figuring out how to do it (and do it correctly). Otherwise you could be wasting time and money, which could be otherwise spent on developing your game.

A game where you try to make it through the level without dying? That's...most games? If that is all that you can say about the game, maybe it's time to just put this one up somewhere and start something new with a more interesting hook or premise. Indie games thrive on being unique experiences, I think.
