The AG is a Democrat. The Governor is a Democrat. Where are the BoTH sIdEs people now?
John Oliver did a great episode on this, as many states have dumped a good chunk of (or all of) the money into law enforcement, instead of helping people with addiction which was the idea behind the money.
Gov’ts everywhere love the idea of extra fed dollars they can spend on cops instead of humans. Assholes always gotta asshole.
Well for many it’s Regan’s “war on drugs” mentality, that more cops breaking heads for drugs will somehow reduce the amount of drug use when it has been shown in study after study not to be true. And the militarisation of the police is also not cheap, but how else are you going to be able to quell a BLM peaceful protest, but allow a riot on the capital to continue for hours? 🤬😵💫
I mean generally democrats as a whole will try to do the right thing. I don’t see democrats cosplaying as Senator Bob Menendez saying the justice system is corrupt.
That’s wild. They surely discussed this entire thing before the governor carried out their alleged swipe attempt, yet she still went through with it. Now, the AG is following through with their threat. Wtf is going on over there?
