What an extremely normal thing to say
Hate crimes, by definition, are not an attack only against an individual, but cause deliberate harm to an entire community.
The crime is different, so they’re treated differently, of course. We also have different degrees of murder depending on the person’s motivation.
Downvoted out of instinct when I saw a holodomor until I read the meme. This is the first time I’ve ever seen it mentioned, not claiming some obscene conspiracy theory.
Again, oh no, who could have possibly predicted this, except for everybody who said they didn’t make any changes after the last time.
Hot take, all apps look the same now.
It’s also probably illegal

There is apparently a way to set up a bridge that will allow you to access it, but that sounds like an awful lot of work. It also requires connecting to a PC running the software, and I would imagine it affects the security of the messaging (which may be the reason to choose proton mail in the first place).

“And you can too!”
This is in a similar legal realm as the abortion bounty. There are a lot of legal experts who claim that there is no standing, while the conservative judges have held that it is a harm against society at large. So any member of society has standing.
It’s a twisted and dangerous legal framework to establish. It’s already been used to attack the second amendment as well. It’s not good for any political side.
I don’t care what they say about us anywoof. I don’t care 'bark arf.
Not sure, but https://exodus-privacy.eu.org/en/ lets you check any app for the presence of trackers. Is that relevant?
Just a reminder that this is how election interference starts. One party arbitrarily accuses the other of election interference, then that party’s adherents decide to interfere with the election to “even things out.” Finally, the party that was falsely accused feels the need to interfere, thus proving the original false accusation. Soon the entire election integrity is undermined.
Only fascists and rival nations benefit from mistrust in democracy.
The sad truth is that this is exactly the answer. Rich people have more power by virtue of being rich.
No, clowns are funny.
I honestly don’t understand how he’s so popular even among Republicans. He’s a coward and the worst kind of political opportunist who is more concerned with his own image than helping Texans.
I’m doing everything that I can to get out the vote in Texas and encouraging people to vote early. With the gerrymandered districts here it’s tough to make a real change, but when it comes to the Senate every vote counts.
Absolutely, I’m in Texas, which is considered a slam dunk for the GOP. I still voted for Allred and for Harris. If there’s a chance to get rid of Ted Cruz, I’m not going to risk it.
And of course, flipping Texas Blue in the presidential election would be a major coup. It’s unlikely, but not impossible, if the voter turnout is high enough.
Truth Out is notoriously low quality journalism that routinely, distorts the facts, or misrepresents them. This article is yet another example.
If the defense of a new source is, “but they barely distorted the facts,” do you really need further clarification?
Truth-Out notorious for this kind of thing.
