      It comes from a place of love not hate. Like “I’m so different I’m normal.”

      I have nothing but love and admiration for our trans brothers and sisters.

        Just a tip, while we’re at it - “siblings” is more inclusive, since not everyone fits in a binary! Same goes for using “folks” (or one of several other alternatives) instead of “ladies ad gentlemen”.

        Also, I’ve definitely seen that joke made before in that context, so you can feel relief that the idea is out there lol

        right, it takes so much courage to go through the acceptance and the transformation, even if it means being in danger, because it’s an even higher cost not to do anything.

      Just say “when you’re so gay you’re straight.” Stack overflow. I’m bi, but realizing I’m trans still made all my straight crushes gay and my gay crushes straight.
