Tom is the real champ now. Jon will come back in a year and fight Stipe, win, and then both will retire. Tom will be the defacto champ or he’ll fight Ciryl Gane to cement it.
Alex’s leg kicks are crazy. Jiri is already stumbling.
DC was right, the back of his leg is fucked
Don’t like that stoppage.
Yeah it’s hard to say, he did eat a lot of elbows. Goddard probably assumed it was a wrap.
That Jiri Reyes knockout is just filthy.
HOLY FUCK BOYS
BANG!! Wooooo!! What a performance.
Thanks for participating everyone. Hope to see you all again at the next event.
I hate that stoppage a title fight.
Damn Jiri is intense.
Jiri is so classy.

I’m indifferent about the stoppage. He was hurt but, it appeared that Jiri had some more fight in him. On the other hand, Jiri’s body language after the elbows likely didn’t look good from a ref perspective.
Yeah, same. But knowing about his insane chin, Goddard should have let him take a few more…
Anyways, Pereira wins either way
Yeah I am quite certain Pereira gets the finish here anyway, I just would have liked to give Jiri the chance to try to hang on, because he has NO quit in him whatsoever.
Lopes closed that one out definitively, damn.
Wow that was fast. I thought Aspinall was a dead man walking after he ate those first two shots.
Me too, I thought “look at me, eating my words again”.
HOLY SHIT
Tom Aspinall vs Gane would be an absolute banger.
I think Aspinall would dominate Gane on the ground. I’d still watch it though.
Oh, absolutely. But Gane’s speed and evasiveness would make the standup much, much more interesting. Gane’s still gonna get his shit mixed, though…
Yeah. I just can’t imagine Gane surviving much longer than he did vs Jones with another well rounded and dynamic opponent. I also can’t think of many other fighters not named Jon Jones that could give Aspinall a really tough fight. Pavlovich seemed like the one with his fuck you power.
