FxSound (formerly DFX Audio Enhancer) is sound booster and EQ for Windows. We’ve gotten over 50M downloads in the 20+ years we’ve been making this software. Last year we decided to make FxSound completely free and unrestricted, and now we’re making FxSound open-source under the GPL 3.0 license.

We have a lot of great feature requests from our community that our 1-person part-time development team can’t get to alone, so we’re looking for help. We’ll be offering financial rewards for good contributors so long as we continue to have the financial backing from our community to afford it.
