i was literally told it has nothing to do with pop:
“This has nothing to do with pop-os. If you don’t like this window behavior, take it up with Proton.”
You need to reach out to the PopOS devs not Lemmy and mention that you’re okay with the tiling being proportioned based on maximum Window size (i.e. most of the screen is tiled to any other applications).
