The end? What do you mean it’s the end!? There’s still so much more I wanted to see! You are lucky you were cute manga, or this would be a reckoning!
I really wish we got a little bit more, just two more chapters to wrap up Nishida and Tairazuma (although now that I’ve re-read the last chapter, it kinda looks like Azuma might have confessed to Taira in that behind the school scene). Here’s hoping for some 65.x chapters! There is also the anime announcement, I don’t actually really care about that one. I find that most of the time when I read the source material, adaptations are just not really that interesting to me. I’ll give it a try when it comes out, at least.
WHAT?!?!
You can’t do this to me, it barely started! 😭
Yeah - that caught me totally off guard. Taira and Azuma just barely started to actually open up to each other and Yamada and Nishi were really coming into their own (and damn I’m going to especially miss Nishi).
Ah well. Poorly timed axes are just a part of being a manga fan.
could we get an autoshonenpon-like bot?
IIRC, there was a lemmy port of autoshonenpon that was posting to the old ml manga community. However, the community was (and likely still is) too small to read most of what it posted and users were asking for it to be disabled so that it didn’t clog up the community feed with posts that nobody commented on. This was more than a year ago now and I can’t really devote the time to look it up (and just generally want to avoid the ml instance), so I don’t have a link for you atm.
I wasn’t a moderator in that community, but if somebody wanted to create an autoshonenpon-like bot for this community, I would be willing to let it run for a bit to get feedback from the current crop of users. I already run the anime discussion bot, so I would appreciate it if somebody else were to run the manga discussion bot.
Hey readers, just wanted to pop in here and let you know that they announced an anime adaptation for January 2026 today.
