Darn Tough wool socks. I have 8 pairs and they’ll literally last me a lifetime. If they wear out I can go get them replaced.
smell-wise, theyre incomparable. mine got holes after 2 years. good longevity when my other socks’ elasticity are gone after a few months of use.
doesn’t Darn Tough have lifetime warranty or something?
a
shoes. though not technically expensive because i buy them used (they are expensive when bought new).
cheap shoes will hurt your feet, are easily damaged, and not repairable. the cheapest shoes i had lasted 2 weeks. leather ones can last years with proper care and resole.bamboo socks. they have better odor resistance than cotton ones.
getting sick of my cheap earphones, on the hunt for a php500-1000 corded earphone.
Do you buy your Bamboo Socks online? Can you point me where?

Have you heard of Sam Vimes “Boots” theory of socioeconomic unfairness, often called simply the boots theory? Sam Vimes is a protagonist in many of Terry Pratchett’s Discworld novels.
The reason that the rich were so rich, Vimes reasoned, was because they managed to spend less money. Take boots, for example. … A man who could afford fifty dollars had a pair of boots that’d still be keeping his feet dry in ten years’ time, while a poor man who could only afford cheap boots would have spent a hundred dollars on boots in the same time and would still have wet feet.
