    Anyone remember those emails forwarded in the naughts that said kittens were being grown in tiny cubes in Asia? They sent pictures like this.

        I miss the early days of internet memes. Things were weirder in a way that was slightly more plausible because we all weren’t jaded enough by the weird shit on the internet yet!

          I miss them too, but I figured I was just old. When the day finally comes, I want the grandkids sitting in awe while I describe the adventures of Salad Fingers 🤣

            I think it’s more than just being old. It’s about being in a community’s early times. I bet even early days tik-tok users have their “you had to be there” stories. Reddit was rife with them, for sure.
