I have less than zero faith that modern Bethesda would do it any sort of justice. The modding scene is still cooking along 20 years after release and there are plenty of good graphics mods if you just want it to look prettier.
Just pay the damn price so we can get a Morrowind remaster. Similar reason I paid full price for Dragon Quest 3 2dhd.
