Someone also tried to redirect credit for that to Brits/Yanks. Mostly Brits, they were also accused of sinking Moskva cruiser.

Russians maybe think that ignoring Ukrainian capabilities is a good way of coping (not to ignore aid from our allies, big part of our survival), but in reality they make it look like they’re getting bullied by absolutely everyone and they swallow it all up.

As a Brit i love how we live rent free in their heads. Turns out if you assassinate people on foreign soil you become an enemy to that country, who would have guessed

It’s even better when it’s folks like Lavrov speaking, with their fixation on Anglo-Saxons. Russia didn’t yet exist before fifteenth century, but now they live in tenth.

American here; yeah we can’t figure out our ass from our elbow right now, and TACO Don has no filter. If our military had pulled this off the Orange Jackass wouldn’t fucking shut up about it. Not that I expect a bunch of hateful Ruskies to have figured that out. Hell, half of our Americans are too stupid to figure out our and we’re drowning in it.

This mindset you just described “Everyone is against us because they fear us” is a recurring theme with that one uncle who isn’t invited to Christmas parties anymore. It is horrifyingly common.
