    We don’t need more remakes. It’s beginning to feel like not just Hollywood but the AAA game industry as a whole are out of original stories. Stop buying this shit.

    I’ll save my money and bust out the PS1 version instead.

      Not everyone has older consoles or have played the older games, so remastering them to make accessible to newer audience is good.

      Also, it’s a cheaper way to gauge interest in the series. Generally speaking, if remaster sells well, we get announcement for a new one soon after that.

    I loved FFTA, but I just couldn’t get into FFT. Mainly because every other mission was to protect someone who half the time killed himself before I even got a turn - I stopped at the gunslinger, who got killed by some black mages about 30 times in a row.

    Other highlights include my whole squad being flooded by chocobos breeding like rabbits and throwing stones being pretty much the only viable skill for a good chunk of early maps.

    Hopefully, the ‘enhanced gameplay’ fixes problems like these. I’d love to give it a proper shot.
